Psychoeducational Evaluations

Clear, compassionate assessments to understand learning challenges and guide effective school support.

Why a Psychoeducational Evaluation?

When a child struggles in school, it’s important to uncover the why. A psychoeducational evaluation looks closely at learning and development by assessing intellectual abilities, academic skills, and relevant aspects of mood and behavior. These evaluations are especially helpful when there are concerns about reading, writing, math, or other school-related difficulties.

Results can clarify whether a learning disability or another condition may be contributing to challenges, and they provide practical guidance on classroom supports and accommodations. The ultimate goal: to inform educational planning, identify effective interventions, and empower families to advocate for the services their child needs to succeed.
