Neuropsychological Evaluations
A clear, compassionate evaluation process that highlights your child’s strengths and explains how brain function impacts learning, attention, and behavior.
Neuropsychological Evaluations
Evaluations include a combination of parent interviews and structured activities (paper-and-pencil and computer-based measures). Together, these provide a detailed understanding of your child’s unique strengths and challenges so we can offer practical, strengths-based recommendations for home, school, and daily life.
What to Expect
Step 1 – Free Phone Interview
We begin with a complimentary 15-minute call to discuss your concerns and answer questions about the evaluation process.
Step 2 – Formal Intake Consultation
If we decide to move forward, we schedule a 60–90 minute intake to review history and better understand your child’s needs.
Step 3 – Evaluation Day
Your child completes structured activities (paper-and-pencil, computer, and problem-solving tasks). Depending on concerns, testing typically takes 5–7 hours, completed in one or two sessions.
Step 4 – Scoring & Interpretation
I carefully analyze results across cognitive, academic, and emotional/behavioral areas to develop a comprehensive picture of your child’s strengths and needs.
Step 5 – Feedback Session
We meet one-on-one (in person or via telehealth) to review results in clear, practical language. You’ll receive individualized recommendations for home, school, and community supports.
Step 6 – Written Report & Collaboration
You’ll receive a detailed written report with findings, diagnoses (if appropriate), and targeted recommendations. I can also collaborate with educators, providers, and other specialists to ensure consistent support.
Why this matters:
Looking across these areas gives a complete picture of your child’s development—what’s going well, what’s getting in the way, and which supports will help most. Our reports are clear, school-ready, and tailored to your child’s goals.
